Search 1,400+ standard o-ring sizes across AS568, ISO 3601, Metric, and JIS B2401 by dash number, ID, or cross section. Full tolerances in both inches and millimeters.
Calculate gland depth, groove width, squeeze percentage, and gland fill for piston, rod, and face seal configurations. Covers all five AS568 cross-section series in inches and millimeters.
O-Ring Capabilities
- Standard Sizes: all AS568, ISO 3601, Metric, and JIS B2401 dash numbers stocked and available
- Custom Dimensions: any ID and cross-section combination molded to your drawing
- Compression Molded: cost-effective for standard profiles and medium-to-high volumes
- Injection Molded: tight tolerances and minimal flash for precision sealing applications
- Static & Dynamic: o-rings specified and molded for both static face seals and dynamic reciprocating applications
- High-Volume Runs: production structured to your schedule without minimum order commitments
O-Ring Materials
The right o-ring compound depends on your operating fluid, temperature range, and whether the seal is static or dynamic. Wayne Rubber works with a network of rubber compounders to source the right grade for your application across all major elastomer families.
The most widely used o-ring material. Excellent oil, fuel, and hydraulic fluid resistance for automotive and industrial applications.
Nitrile O-Rings →Widest temperature range of any common o-ring material. FDA and USP Class VI grades available for food processing and medical applications.
Silicone O-Rings →Continuous service to +400°F with outstanding resistance to aggressive fuels, solvents, and chemicals. For environments where NBR falls short.
FKM Seals →Water, steam, brake fluid, and outdoor weathering resistance. The standard choice for water system fittings and non-oil-wetted automotive o-rings.
Water & Steam View EPDM material data →Hydrogenated NBR for elevated-temperature oil service, sour gas exposure, and ozone-present environments where standard NBR falls short.
High-Temp Oil Service View HNBR material data →General-purpose o-ring compound with good ozone, weather, and moderate oil resistance. A balanced choice for refrigerant and HVAC sealing.
General Purpose View CR material data →Not sure which material suits your application? Use Wayne Rubber’s Chemical Resistance and Material Selection Guide to screen compounds against your specific fluid, temperature, and regulatory requirements.
